It all started with a chance encounter in the bustling city of Bangalore. My name is Anu, and I have got a decent gig at one of those big companies that everyone has heard of. You know, the kind with offices that look like spaceships and coffee that tastes like it was brewed by robots.
But, that day was different. I bumped into Ms. Chowla, my old college professor, while I was rushing to grab some lunch. She looked just as good as she did back in the day, maybe even better. Her hair still fell in those perfect waves, and her eyes had that sparkle that could make anyone feel like the most important person in the room. We talked about life, work, and the good ol’ college days, but I was so flustered that I forgot to ask for her number. Classic Anu move.
